Our Tough Options programme is for 14-19 year olds, looking at how difficult issues – and specifically the Israeli/Palestinian conflict - impact on our communities here in Britain. In 2020 we are operating this work in Birmingham, Nottingham and Greater Manchester. Tough Options is supported by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government. Please contact FODIP if you would like further information or would like to get involved.
The Tough Options project provides young people with skills and information for talking about Israel/Palestine across religious boundaries, emphasising the shared concern that Jews, Christians and Muslims have for the Holy Land and the people who live there. Running sessions in a number of locations around the country, we are pleased to be working with the St Philip’s Centre in Leicester and delivering sessions in partnership with Solutions Not Sides. The project is supported by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
